The Norwich Philharmonic Society was established in 1841 and has remained at the heart of the city’s musical life ever since. With a full-size symphony orchestra and a mixed chorus of some 120 voices, the Society performs a wide repertoire of large-scale works, joined by guest soloists of the highest calibre. ‘The Phil’ performs four concerts of choral and/or orchestral music each season, plus a very popular Family Christmas Concert.

Our next concert is:

Saturday 5th November 2016, 7:30pm
St Andrews Hall

Susanna Fairbairn (soprano), Robert Rice (baritone)
conducted by Matthew Andrews and David Dunnett

Get involved with Norwich Phil

We are looking for two members of the public to join the committee of the Society. The committee meets five times per year in the early evening and members work together to agree programmes and make sure that the Society is run effectively. There is also a publicity sub-committee to which input is welcomed. If you are interested in getting involved in this way, please email the Secretary, Sue Mitchell on info@norwichphil.org.uk
